    [abstract] => The objective of the study is to analyse the investment pattern of salaried employees of Udupi city. The data is collected through questionnaire served through google forms. It was found from the analysis that majority of the respondents invest their savings to earn additional income and that the most preferred option of investment is Bank Fixed deposits. Lack of sufficient financial knowledge regarding risk and return also prevents the employees from venturing into modern investment avenues.
