A STUDY ON IMPACT OF FITNESS APPS IN IMPROVING GYM ADHERENCE

Abstract
Gym adherence has become an important factor in maintaining physical fitness and a healthy lifestyle in the modern digital era. This study examines the impact of fitness applications on improving gym adherence among users. It focuses on how features such as workout tracking, reminders, progress monitoring, personalized workout plans, and motivational notifications influence the consistency of gym attendance. The research is based on primary data collected through a structured questionnaire from gym users, along with supporting secondary data from journals and online sources. Statistical tools such as percentage analysis and frequency distribution were used to interpret the collected data. The findings reveal that fitness applications play a significant role in motivating users, tracking workout progress, and maintaining regular exercise routines. The study concludes that fitness apps act as an effective technological support system that encourages individuals to remain consistent with their fitness goals. By providing real-time feedback, goal tracking, and personalized workout guidance, fitness apps contribute positively to improving gym adherence and overall user motivation.
