Abstract
This study examined the workflow management practices of non-teaching personnel in the Schools Division of Davao Occidental, focusing on accountability, quality of work, initiative, and ethical conduct. A quantitative descriptive-comparative research design was employed, involving 30 non-teaching personnel selected through simple random sampling. Data were gathered through a validated and pilot-tested researcher-made survey questionnaire and analyzed using frequency, percentage, mean, t-test, Mann-Whitney U test, ANOVA, and Kruskal-Wallis H test at the 0.05 level of significance. Findings revealed that workflow management practices were very high overall, with quality of work as the strongest area and initiative as the lowest area, although all indicators remained very high. Respondents were represented by ADA III, ADAS III, and ADAS II personnel, with most having 8-10 years of service and training exposure in data management, office workflow, ICT, and records management. Results showed significant differences in workflow management practices when analyzed according to administrative position and length of service. However, no significant differences were found when grouped according to training attended and sex. These findings indicate that role responsibilities and work experience influence administrative workflow behaviors more than training background or sex. The study recommends strengthening role clarity, mentoring systems, supportive leadership, and coordinated administrative practices to further enhance workflow performance.
