    [abstract] => The article describes the current state and dynamics of the agricultural network in the mountainous and foothill regions of the republic, analyzes the cultivation of agricultural products in economic entities and promising areas. One of the topical issues will also be discussed - the main trends in the digitalization of agriculture. The authors scientific proposals and practical recommendations on the use of digital technologies in agricultural production in mountainous and foothill regions, digitalization of agricultural management functions and the creation of smart production in agriculture are given.
