    [abstract] =>  This article examines the development and impact of green deposit services in the banking sector, focusing on their role in promoting sustainable finance. Green deposits allow banks to direct funds toward environmentally responsible projects, meeting the rising consumer demand for eco-friendly financial products. Through a review of regulatory frameworks and examples from developed markets, this study highlights the benefits and challenges of adopting green deposits. The potential for green deposits in Uzbekistan is also discussed, with recommendations for creating a supportive regulatory environment and raising public awareness to drive adoption.
