    [abstract] => <p>Kadapa district, one of the backward districts in agricultural development in the state of Andhra Pradesh. Agricultural development is imperative to guage the development of Kadapa region through bank financing. In this paper, an attempt is made to describe the agro-economic profile of Kadpa district and analyze the agricultural finance and progress of institutional credit in the district. Kadapa district plays a major role in disbursing the loans to the farmers.</p>
