    [abstract] => <p>Mutual fund offers an opportunity to invest in a diversified fields, professionally manages large number of securities at relatively low cost. Small investors can use it as tool for investing in a well diversified portfolio of equities, bonds and other securities. Investments in each security will split into different section of industries and sectors. So the risk is diversified and reduced. The object of this research work is to know about the Mutual funds, its types and the schemes available to the public.</p>
