Abstract

The climate change results in extreme weather events in terms of erratic rainfall, delayed rainfall, unseasonal rainfall, over rainfall, deviation from normal rainfall, frequent occurrence of drought and desertification. Climate change alters the cropping pattern and farming practices. Climate change has significant impact on sustainable farming practices. This paper deals with impact of climate change on farm households. It outlines the various indicators on impact of climate change on farm households. This paper identifies various impact of climate change on farm households according to their farm size, education level, family size and gender status. This paper concludes with some interesting findings.
