    [abstract] => <p>Material management&nbsp;is an approach for planning, organizing, and controlling all those activities principally concerned with the flow of&nbsp;materials&nbsp;into an organization. This paper deals with material selection during the construction process. It outlines the materials strategies considered during materials selection and it can be assessed with the help of 15 factors on a 5 point rating scale. This paper concludes with some interesting findings.</p>
