This paper deals with application of intellectual property rights in Indian agriculture. It outlines the scope of creating enabling environment towards application of intellectual property rights in Indian agriculture. The role of the national accidents of agricultural sciences in promotion of intellectual property rights in Indian agriculture has been explained in this paper. This paper speaks about the measures to promote intellectual property rights in Indian agriculture and awareness generation about intellectual property rights. This paper concludes with some interesting findings.
