SHG is an informal social organization. The formation of social organization requires stimulation to initiate action to form Self Help Group. In villages of Odisha, the formation of SHG or similar social organizations is not easy task. It requires constant motivational effort. In many cases the motivation also fails. The sources of motivation, their credibility, mode of approach and many other factors play important role to establish SHGs.
