A STUDY ON EFFECTIVE RECRUITMENT STRATEGY IN THE DIGITAL AGE

Abstract
Recruitment has evolved significantly in the digital era, transforming traditional hiring practices into technology-driven processes. This study examines the effectiveness of digital recruitment strategies at Voltech Operations and Maintenance Services, Chennai. The research focuses on the role of online job portals, social media platforms, and career websites in enhancing recruitment efficiency. A descriptive research design was adopted, and primary data were collected from 150 respondents through structured questionnaires. Statistical tools such as percentage analysis, Chi-square test, ANOVA, and correlation were used for data analysis. The findings indicate that digital recruitment significantly improves hiring efficiency, reduces time consumption, and enhances candidate reach. The study concludes that organizations adopting digital recruitment strategies gain a competitive advantage in talent acquisition. In the modern business environment, recruitment has evolved from a routine administrative function into a strategic process that significantly influences organizational success. The study also reveals a strong positive relationship between candidate satisfaction and their willingness to recommend digital recruitment methods. Overall, the research highlights the importance of adopting advanced recruitment technologies to remain competitive in the dynamic job market.
