Abstract
Employee engagement has become a critical determinant of organizational effectiveness, particularly in service-driven industries such as healthcare. This study examines the level of employee engagement and identifies the key factors influencing it among healthcare professionals. Primary data was collected from 83 respondents using a structured questionnaire covering multiple dimensions of engagement. Statistical tools such as descriptive analysis, reliability testing, correlation, and multiple regression were applied to analyse the data. The results indicate that employee engagement exists at a moderate level. Among the factors studied, job satisfaction and career development opportunities show a significant positive influence on engagement, whereas work environment and communication do not demonstrate a statistically significant effect in the regression model. The study highlights the importance of psychological and growth-related factors in enhancing employee engagement. The findings offer valuable insights for improving human resource practices in healthcare organizations.
