Abstract
Artificial Intelligence (AI) has become one of the most transformative technologies in the modern digital economy. Many companies now rely on AI to provide intelligent solutions, automation services, predictive analytics, and personalized digital experiences. As AI adoption increases across industries such as healthcare, finance, marketing, and retail, understanding how AI-based companies generate revenue becomes important for business sustainability. This study explores the different revenue generation models adopted by AI-based companies. The research focuses on subscription models, Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), licensing, data monetization, and AI-powered consulting services. Through a comparative analysis of existing literature and industry practices, the study identifies the most commonly used revenue strategies and evaluates their effectiveness. The findings suggest that subscription-based AI services and SaaS platforms are among the most profitable models due to recurring revenue streams and scalability. Additionally, AI companies increasingly rely on data-driven insights and enterprise solutions to enhance profitability. The study highlights how innovative business models help AI firms maintain competitive advantage and achieve sustainable growth in the digital economy.
