Abstract
Export compliance and documentation are important issues in the global trade as they guarantee compliance with regulations and assist in the seamless cross-border transaction. Export Data Processing and Monitoring System (EDPMS), which was initiated by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), has become a great digital project that is intended to enhance monitoring and processing of export-related transactions. This paper analyses the effects that EDPMS has had on the export compliance and documentation efficiency in Kaar Technologies.
It has an empirical approach to research the effectiveness of EDPMS in increasing the accuracy and reducing the occurrence of manual errors in addition to better tracking of export proceeds. It also assesses the role of the digital transformation via EDPMS in streamlining the documentation and reducing delays alongside ensuring that regulatory reports are timely. The paper also discusses the contribution of system integration with enterprise systems like ERP systems towards enhancement of operational coordination.
The main conclusions are that EDPMS leads to a significant improvement of transparency, accountability, and adherence to regulatory compliance. Nevertheless, some pitfalls including integration of the system, usability, and training needs were also found. On the whole, the research finds that EDPMS is critical in enhancing export compliance procedures and effectiveness of documentations in export-driven companies.
