Abstract
The banking sector has undergone rapid transformation in recent years due to technological advancements, increased competition, and evolving customer expectations. Customer Relationship Management (CRM) has emerged as a strategic tool for banks to sustain growth, improve service quality, and build long-term customer relationships. This study analyses the impact of CRM strategies on enhancing customer relationships with reference to Kotak Mahindra Bank. The research is descriptive in nature and is based on both primary and secondary data. Primary data was collected through structured questionnaires from 126 respondents who are customers of the bank. Secondary data was gathered from journals, books, RBI reports, and bank publications. Statistical tools such as percentage analysis and Pearson correlation were used for interpretation. The findings reveal that CRM practices significantly improve customer satisfaction across multiple dimensions — digital banking satisfaction stands at 78%, loyalty program influence at 78%, trust and transparency at 74%, and overall CRM satisfaction at 72%. Pearson correlation analysis confirms a very strong positive relationship between CRM technology adoption and overall customer satisfaction (r = 0.96). The study concludes that effective CRM strategies are essential for building strong customer relationships and enhancing customer loyalty in the banking sector. Continuous innovation, deeper personalization, and advanced technological integration can further strengthen CRM practices for long-term success.
