Abstract
Stress management is an important aspect of human resource management that focuses on identifying, controlling, and reducing stress among employees in an organization. In today’s competitive business environment, employees experience stress due to workload, long working hours, role ambiguity, deadlines, technological changes, and interpersonal conflicts. Stress affects both the physical and psychological health of employees and influences organizational productivity and efficiency. Effective stress management practices help employees maintain emotional balance, improve job satisfaction, and increase organizational commitment.
In industrial organizations such as cement manufacturing companies, employees often work under challenging conditions that include shift work, operational pressure, production targets, and safety concerns. Therefore, organizations must implement proper stress management strategies such as employee counseling, wellness programs, flexible work arrangements, training programs, and recreational activities. Stress management contributes to employee well-being, reduces absenteeism, minimizes turnover, and enhances overall organizational performance.
