    [abstract] => This article discusses a number of issues regarding the legal regulation of industrial designs as an object of industrial property rights, as well as an integral part of intellectual property rights. The requirements relating to both inventions and industrial designs were also considered in order to obtain a patent and legal protection for them. In the third part of the article, the issues of liability for violations of the rights of copyright holders to industrial designs were considered.
