    [abstract] => This comparative study was conducted with quantitative approach were selected by purposive sampling technique. 100 Married women from rural area 100 Married women from urban area were selected to conduct the study.  Structured Questionnaire were prepared to assess the knowledge and attitude regarding contraceptive method among married women. Data was analyzed and interpreted using descriptive and inferential statistics. Prior commencing to data collection the investigator had obtained formal permission to collect the data.
