    [abstract] => The article deals with the notion and the importance of the concept linguistic competence defined by specialists as the ability to demonstrate linguistic knowledge, skills and abilities in a work experience. Also, the paper describes detailed information about the approach and organizational-pedagogical conditions that were used in the research. The author concludes that in non-philological education, to develop linguistic competence, e-learning manuals could be widely employed in learning English in an innovative environment.
