The recurrent attack of tonsilitis make disease chronic and timely treatment is essential.The conventional line of treatment of thundikeri includes use of antibiotics and tonsillectomy.To over come this we have pratisaraniya kshara karma.Kshara has the property of bedana and lekana and help to reduce the inflammation.
