    [abstract] => This research paper examines the profound impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on the operations of public sector banks in India. With the rapid advancement of AI technologies, public banks in India are increasingly leveraging AI to streamline processes, enhance customer experiences, and improve operational efficiency. Through an analysis of various AI applications and their implications, this study aims to provide insights into the positive and negative impacts of AI adoption in the banking sector. The rapid advancement of artificial intelligence (AI) is profoundly transforming the global banking landscape, and public sector banks in India are no exception. As these institutions strive to modernize and remain competitive in an increasingly digital economy, AI has emerged as a critical enabler of operational efficiency, service innovation, and strategic decision-making.
