These stakeholders serve as the backbone of the business. So it is the ethical responsibilities of the business to serve these stakeholders and to take care of their interest. It is the ethical responsibility of the business to undertake various activities voluntarily to the serve the society as a whole. This paper explores the corporate social responsibilities in India and its impact on sustainable development. It's throws life on historical context and legal framework governing CSR in India. It also explores the key drivers of CSR such as economic factors social factors and environmental factors.
