It aims to determine the prevalence of rape cases in Mountain Province. This study used a phenomenology approach to conduct qualitative research, which included gathering, analyzing, and providing non-numerical data to ten law enforcement officers from the Women and Children Protection Desk Unit using face-to-face interviews and an online platform (Zoom). The obstacles and repercussions that Mountain Province law enforcement officers have faced have allowed them to adapt to a scenario. Furthermore, Law Enforcement Officers recommend numerous coping mechanisms and solutions whenever faced with such issues. Law enforcement officers pay great attention to the victim's verbal and nonverbal signs, avoiding interruptions and conclusions. Respected the victim's privacy and ensured that the information shared remained confidential. Uses proper language and avoids terminology that may be triggering or disrespectful, and shows gratitude for the victim's willingness to participate while reassuring them that their struggle is not theirs alone.
