    [abstract] => This article describes the traditional way of life and customs of the Tajiks of the Jizzakh oasis. The nature and history, flora and fauna, monuments and tourism of Tajik villages in Jizzakh region are covered. The earliest tribal communities in the region had favorable natural conditions and fertile lands for livestock and settled farmers, especially the availability of running water, which was the main reason for the mutual development of human activities and social processes in the oasis.
