The purpose of this qualitative research and case study survey is to determine the participants perceptions of the effectiveness of character-building training using the participatory learning method. The research sample consisted of ten participants and a trainer from a purposive sample, and the primary data collection tool was semi-structured interviews. The findings in the study based on the results of interviews with participants were positive comments or sound judgments that occurred during the training and respect, courtesy, and supportive behavior shown by participants when interacting with other participants.
