    [abstract] => In this article the Decrees of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, special resolutions and laws of the Cabinet of Ministers, which provided the legal framework for the preservation of cultural heritage of Uzbekistan during the years of independence are studied. The purpose of the article is to study the cultural heritage from the point of view of museology. The main problems in the study of material cultural heritage are analyzed in it . Also, the article deals with the study and preservation of material cultural heritage.
