In recent years, microscopic algae have attracted the attention of researchers as a source of proteins, fats, carbohydrates, vitamins and physiologically active substances. Of particular interest are some green algae (chlorella, stagedesmus) and blue-green algae (spirulina, nostoc, anabena).
