    [abstract] => The article examines the current ecological state of water bodies of the Southern Aral Sea region. One type of water body is a lake ecosystem. The water mineralization in most lakes in the Southern Aral Sea region was determined by the hydroregime of the Amu Darya River. The chemical composition of water in summer is hydrocarbonate, in winter and autumn it is chloride-sulfate.
