In different text of Ayurveda, janu Sandhigata Vata is described under Vata Vyadhi1. In Modern Janu sandhigata Vata2 is corelated to Osteo arthritis of Knee joint. Asthi and Sandhi is the place of Vata. Acharaya Susruta described different types of treatment of Vata diseases. Agnikarma is one of them which gives instant pain relif by pacifying Vata dosa
