This article examines two seemingly disparate case studies—Leopold Café in Mumbai and the Mizo Peace Accord of 1986—to highlight how scars of violence and collective struggle can be transformed into enduring lessons of resilience, reconciliation, and peace. While Leopold Café embodies the spirit of survival after the 26/11 terror attacks, the Mizo Peace Accord represents the possibility of negotiated settlements after decades of armed conflict. Both narratives emphasize remembrance, forgiveness, and the cultivation of peace as essential to the health of pluralistic societies
