In this paper, we study *-normal spaces and the relationships among normal, *-normal, quasi normal, softly normal, almost normal, -normal and mildly normal spaces are investigated. We also obtain some characterizations of *-normal spaces. Moreover, we also introduce some closed and continuous functions such as almost J-closed, *-continuous and almost *-continuous functions and investigate some properties of *-normal spaces in the terms of these functions.
