Abstract
The adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in organizational activities has significantly changed modern recruitment practices. Technologies such as Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and automated resume screening tools are widely used by organizations to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of hiring processes. These systems help recruiters manage large volumes of applications, reduce manual workload, and enhance candidate selection. Despite the advantages, concerns remain regarding transparency, fairness, and the reduction of human involvement in hiring decisions. This study reviews existing research on AI-based recruitment technologies and evaluates their influence on hiring quality. The study focuses on factors such as AI implementation, ATS utilization, automated resume screening, transparency of AI algorithms, and the moderating role of human intervention. A conceptual framework is proposed to understand how these variables interact in improving recruitment outcomes. The study suggests that AI can significantly enhance hiring quality when supported by ethical guidelines and active human supervision.
