Abstract
Training is an important function of human resource management that helps employees improve their knowledge, skills, and abilities for performing specific jobs effectively. It is a systematic process through which employees learn technical knowledge, work procedures, and behavioral skills required for organizational success. Training bridges the gap between job requirements and employee capabilities. It also improves confidence, efficiency, and work performance among employees. Training is considered a continuous learning process that enhances employee productivity and organizational growth. According to Robert L. Craig, training is a process of improving employee efficiency and effectiveness by updating professional knowledge and developing personal skills.
