Abstract
This article provides an in-depth analysis of the conceptual foundations, content, and practical effectiveness of institutional and strategic approaches aimed at reducing the proportion of women among the poor. The study frames poverty not merely as a lack of income, but as a deeply rooted, multifaceted socio-economic phenomenon. It emphasizes that in contexts where gender inequality persists, women are disproportionately affected by poverty and are more likely to remain in vulnerable socio-economic positions.
Women’s exclusion from formal employment, limited access to financial services and resources, as well as the heavy burden of unpaid domestic labor, significantly reduce their economic activity and serve as structural barriers to escaping poverty.
