This study provided a brief introduction to the discipline of Information Resource Management (Former Name: Library & Information & Archive Management) and the subject of Business Information Management along with its background in Mainland China. Further, a tentative exploration for designing a professional-oriented Model Curriculum of Master in Business Information Management was given for the future development of Business Information Management in Mainland China.
