In the article, the concept of intellectual potential, its importance in the development of the society was revealed on the example of the role of the intellectual potential of young people in the life of the society of Uzbekistan. In recent years, measures to increase the intellectual potential of the country, their legal bases, especially the work aimed at increasing the intellectual potential of young people, have been analyzed.
