Abstract
The purpose of the study was to determine the impact of the Olympic Integer intervention on the computational fluency of students in adding and subtracting integers. Hence, the purpose of this study was to determine the significant difference between the pretest and post-test scores of the students. A pre-experimental research design was utilized to measure the effect of the intervention. Data were gather from 30 Grade 9 students at Doña Carmen Soriano National High School, selected through purposive sampling. Data collection was done through pretest and post-test administration. Findings revealed a substantial difference in the scores before and after the intervention. The mean pretest score was 9.90 (Moderate), while the mean post-test score was 17.70 (Very High). The paired t-test results indicated a significant improvement in students' scores from the pretest to the post-test, with t (29) = -15.144, p < .001. This substantial difference suggests a strong effect of the intervention on students' ability to add and subtract integers, indicating a highly significant and positive impact on their computational fluency.
