Abstract
This research paper explores the role of microfinance in empowering women entrepreneurs in rural India, highlighting its impact, challenges, and potential for enhancing economic opportunities. Microfinance has significantly contributed to women's financial inclusion by providing access to credit and financial services, which has enabled many rural women to start and expand businesses, improve household incomes, and foster community development. Micro finance is supply of micro credit to people living in below poverty line and has no means to access to meet their financial requirement through different Financial & Micro financial institutions in India. Financial institutions are playing a pivotal role in fulfilling the financial requirement of rural poor women. It is aid to engage them in productive activities and meet their socio and economic development by availing various financial products to meet both their business productive work as well as in achieving social development. Thus Micro finances are playing a major role for uplifting the socio economic life of the poor women in India
