This article studies the poetic interpretation of the image of "Layli" in the work of representatives of the Kokand literary environment formed in the 19th century. In particular, the content and essence of this image in the Kokand literary environment, nourished by the traditions of Hafiz Shirozi, Fuzuli, Navoi and enriched with its own style, is analyzed. The article analyzes the spiritual and aesthetic image of Layli in the work of poets such as Uvaysi and Nodira, the artistic ideas expressed through her, the exaltation of the image of a woman and her combination with mystical concepts. The results of the research demonstrate the continuity of classical literary traditions in the Kokand literary environment and the artistic elevation of the image of a woman reinterpreted in the national spirit.
