The security in Taguig City University is provided by the BEST Security Agency as the major security provider hired by the local government unit of the city of Taguig since 2015. The private security personnel are also assisted by the personnel from the Public Order and Safety Office (POSO) who also provides security and safety within the campus. According to the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES), there's been a general decline in crime rates on college campuses over the past two decades. While colleges take active measures to protect students and maintain a safe campus, crime still happens. The study aims to assess the level of effectiveness of Taguig City University Campus Security and Safety to serve as basis for a proposed action plan. Specifically, it sought answers to the following question: 1) What is the level of Taguig City University Campus Security and Safety as assessed by the three groups of respondents in terms of manpower compliment; logistic support; standard operating procedures; inter-agency coordination; and school safety. The research method employed in this study was descriptive method to determine the level of effectiveness of in implementing the Campus Security and Safety in Taguig City University as basis for a proposed action plan.
