Abstract
Tribal and forest-based products are gaining popularity due to their eco-friendly and sustainable nature. These products, often crafted using traditional techniques, not only support local communities but also promote biodiversity and preserve cultural heritage. However, harnessing markets for these products effectively is crucial for their success. Effective marketing is key to unlocking their potential. However, tapping into mainstream markets remains a challenge. Actually, the tribal treasures, hidden in plain sight! With the right market strategies, these products can shine, benefiting artisans and boosting local economies. This research explores strategies to market tribal products effectively, bridging traditional craftsmanship with modern consumer preferences. By identifying market opportunities, enhancing product visibility, and ensuring fair pricing, the study aims to empower tribal communities also and promote sustainable development. Methodology used for this study was mixed method approach i.e., surveys and interviews with tribal artisans and market analysis. There was a growing demand for the forest tribal products by the eco-conscious buyers. The challenges facing was limited online presence, pricing and packing. Digital marketing and social media can boost its visibility. At the same time, it leads to empowering tribal communities and sustainable development. Hence, this study explores strategies for bridging traditional craftsmanship with modern consumer preferences. One of the challenges the artisans facing is of building a loyal customer base is tough in the marketing of tribal based products.
