Abstract
This study delves into the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on eco-tourism and sustainable development in South and Southeast Asia, aiming to identify challenges such as reduced tourist arrivals, supply chain disruptions, and strain on conservation and local communities. Nonetheless, it also reveals opportunities in domestic tourism promotion, digital technology adoption, and community-based initiatives. Employing a review analysis, the research addresses knowledge gaps and provides valuable insights for policymakers. By promoting resilient and responsible tourism practices, this study contributes to the advancement of sustainable tourism in the region, considering the intricate relationship between eco-tourism, sustainable development, and the pandemic's ramifications.
