THE ROLE OF MASS MEDIA IN PARLIAMENTARY ELECTIONS IN UZBEKISTAN

Abstract
The article analyzes the role and influence of mass media in the 2019 parliamentary elections of Uzbekistan. Based on the historical context of elections from 1994 to 2019, it demonstrates the evolution of the media system, the increase in transparency, the activation of digital platforms, the first-ever televised debates, and their impact on political culture.
