Abstract
Omni bus services have become an important part of the private transportation system in India. These buses are operated by private travel agencies and mainly provide intercity passenger transport. Omni buses offer various facilities such as comfortable seating, sleeper coaches, air-conditioning, and online booking systems. The growing demand for convenient and flexible travel has increased the importance of omni bus services. This article examines the impact of omni bus services on passenger transportation, focusing on passenger convenience, tourism development, economic contribution, and employment opportunities. The study also highlights the challenges faced by omni bus operators and the need for proper regulation and technological advancement to improve the quality of services. Seasonal trip services are special transportation services that operate mainly during peak travel periods such as festivals, holidays, tourism seasons, and pilgrimage events. These services are commonly provided by private travel agencies and omni bus operators to meet the increased demand for passenger transport. Seasonal trip services help reduce travel congestion, improve connectivity to tourist destinations, and provide additional revenue for transport operators. This study examines the importance of seasonal trip services, their impact on passenger convenience, tourism development, and economic contribution. The study also discusses the challenges faced in managing seasonal travel demand.
