Abstract
Hockey players' performance, mental toughness, and overall experience all benefit greatly from motivational strategies. This study examined how different motivational strategies affect hockey players' performance, team cohesion, resilience, goal setting, and general happiness. Goal setting, visualization, positive reinforcement, and team building exercises have been shown to increase athlete effort, focus, and confidence. These methods contribute to more developed execution by upgrading fixation and enabling more significant effort during practices and games. Additionally, motivational techniques strengthen team cohesion and cooperation, which improves team dynamics and communication. They also help players become mentally stronger by helping them overcome challenges and maintain a positive attitude. Effective goal setting and progress tracking keep players focused and motivated, and focusing on enjoyment and personal development increases overall satisfaction with the game. Coaches who use these methods can also become better leaders, making the team more motivated and cohesive. This summary highlights the importance of motivational techniques in improving the performance and satisfaction of hockey players.
